Mr. Gary Sinise taught me a lot from his deep and true patriotism. His father late Mr. Robert Sinise answered the call to defend my country's freedom during the Korean War in the 1950s. When I watch Mr. Gary's every single moment on youtube, I do always feel heartwarmed. God bless you Mr. Gary Sinise and all your families. I am a Vietnam vet. Due to my disabilities I cannot travel easily. Too bad for us who have problems traveling.

The VA sux. I am fortunate that I retired from the Navy. Between Tricare and medicare my medical needs are covered. The VA clinic in Pueblo I exist to provide jobs for the employees. Not that they are there to assist me. I stopped going there because my blood pressure would go sky high as I walked out the door since the answers I got contained the letters n and o.

Congratulations to all Rosies. I am a daughter of a WW2 Dad who fought in France. Last September at 69 years young and took my first trip to DC. I wish I could go back year. I am now 70. My cousin lives in Alexanderia VA. I stayed with him. I wish I could afford to stay in a hotel. However my income is limited. I am blessed to live in housing.

Thanks Gary, only two entertainers love the military enough to go anywhere they are to entertain them you and Bob Hope. As a Vietnam vet that was lucky enough to see the Bob Hope Long Bin show in 1970 I want to tell you how much you do is appreciated.

My parents both served I WW 2 ,every year while growing up ,my mom my four other siblings and I and I would drive to Sautelle a beautiful cemetery in Los Angeles,when my dad would visit the graves of his buddies he lost in WW 2 ,hie would ,I’ve to be 80 years old and never forgot them ,GOD BLESS THESE FALLEN HEROES AND GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Let’s not forgot that Gary recently lost his son to a very rare form of cancer ,and here he is honoring these heroes ,I come from a Marine Corps family ,I watch this tribute every year ,it’s incredible what these guys do to honor our men and women present and past ,who have fought,bled and and died for the very freedom we have in this beautiful country .

How do I apply? I am in desperate need. My wife is disabled and cannot work. I have trigeminal neuralgia and glaucoma, due to a bad reaction to a vaccine I received in the Marine Corps. I cannot work a labor intensive job now,due to the daily accomodations I need to keep the pain away enough to function. My car blew up and I cannot afford to get another one or even get a new engine put in. I'm behind on bills. I had to get a personal loan, which I can't afford, just to catch up on my mortgage and electricity so I could feed my wife and son without worries of not having power or losing my home. I'm in credit card dept. I use to work full time plus run my own business, but COVID destroyed it and we hat to shut down in January. We've applied almost everywhere and we're told there's no funding. I haven't had my vehicle in 5 months, and running my farm truck to get to work is putting us further in the hole because of maintenance and gas,and it's about to blow up too. It feels like nobody is willing to help us. I don't know what to do.

No badmouthing of our vets here is there. Thank you to the families and to GarySinise, just call him uncle

Thanks so much Gary! Many in our family have served WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Cold War, fortunately everyone made it home but not without some scars. It's hard to understand unless you have worn the uniform & done the job. Thanks to all now serving, those who have, and those who will in the future. FLY NAVY!!!

as much as I want to bring back all of their loved ones, I am forever grateful. May the families know that in MY house, its not about the bbqs and parties, we remember and we pray for every Fallen Hero.. its more than ''just a job'' .. To the families: We hold you close you are not forgotten as well.
